Aquaculture Center for Training, Education and Demonstration (ACTED, Florida USA): A wide range of workshops and courses in aquaculture are offered by ACTED at the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution.

Aquaculture Engineering Society (AES): The purpose of the AES is to provide a means by which its members can come together to discuss and solve engineering problems related to aquaculture. The official journal of the AES is the Aquacultural Engineering Journal.

Aquatic Network (AquaNet): AquaNet is a resource network that provides information on a broad range of aquatic topics, including aquaculture, fisheries, marine science, maritime heritage, ocean engineering, and seafood.

Aquaculture Network Information Center (AquaNIC): AquaNIC is a well maintained internet hub that provides links to aquaculture publications, newsletters and groups, suppliers, and individuals involved in aquaculture throughout the world.

American Fisheries Society (AFS): The AFS and its various divisions, chapters, sections, and committees are currently supported by over fifty Internet web sites.  The parent web site also provides links to a number of aquaculture and fishery sites outside the AFS.

FAO Fisheries Department: The FAO provides quantitative summaries of global fisheries and aquaculture.

Pond Dynamics/Aquaculture - Collaborative Research Support Program (PD/A CRSP): The PD/A CRSP conducts research aimed at improving the efficiency of pond aquaculture systems, general aquaculture development, and global food security. The PD/A CRSP maintains a comprehensive, standardized database for tropical pond aquaculture (see Data Tools).

World Aquaculture Society (WAS): The WAS is an international organization which promotes the educational, scientific, and technological development of aquaculture throughout the world. Their web site provides membership information, a listing of WAS publications, and other resources.

World Fish Center: WorldFish Center is an autonomous, nongovernmental, nonprofit, international scientific and technical center which has been organized to conduct, stimulate and accelerate research on all aspects of fisheries and other living aquatic resources.
